Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using TokGenerator (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

TokGenerator is a free tool that allows users to generate image mockups resembling TikTok comment screenshots. The Service is provided “as is” at no charge, with no account or registration required.

The Service is supported by advertising. You agree that we may serve third-party advertisements (such as Google AdSense) on the Service.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use TokGenerator for:

  • Educational purposes — demonstrating how social media interfaces work, teaching design or media literacy
  • Mockups and prototypes — creating placeholder content for design presentations, UI demonstrations, or marketing materials
  • Legitimate creative content — satire, parody, or clearly labeled fictional scenarios
  • Personal projects — non-commercial experimentation and creative work

When sharing generated content publicly, you must clearly label it as a “mockup”, “example”, or “generated image”. Passing generated content off as authentic screenshots is a violation of these Terms.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Deceive or defraud — create content intended to mislead others into believing a fabricated comment is real
  • Impersonate — generate content that falsely represents statements made by real, identifiable individuals without their consent
  • Harass or defame — create content designed to harm the reputation of any person, company, or organization
  • Spread misinformation — produce fake screenshots for use in disinformation campaigns, fake news, or manipulation of public opinion
  • Violate platform rules — create content that violates the terms of service of TikTok or any other platform
  • Illegal activity — use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to block access to the Service for any use we determine, at our sole discretion, to be harmful or abusive.

4. Intellectual Property

The TokGenerator name, logo, and website design are the property of their respective owners. The underlying source code is open-source — see our GitHub repository for license details.

TikTok trademark notice

Non-Affiliation: TokGenerator is a strictly independent design tool. We have no affiliation, association, or official connection with TikTok, ByteDance Ltd., or any of their subsidiaries. The term “Tok” is used for descriptive purposes only. The mockup interface is a creative reproduction intended for illustrative use and does not imply any endorsement by the trademark owner.

Your generated images

You retain full ownership of the images you generate using the Service. By using the Service, you represent that your use of generated images complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Premium Services: While we offer a free tier, certain features or increased usage limits may require a paid subscription (“Premium Services”). If you purchase a subscription via Stripe, you agree to the specific billing terms presented at checkout. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. We reserve the right to adjust pricing or limit free-tier access (enforced via technical identifiers) at our discretion to prevent abuse.

Billing: Payments are processed via Stripe. You must provide accurate billing information. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled.

Refunds: Due to the digital nature of our Service and the availability of a free tier for testing, all sales are generally final. We reserve the right to issue refunds at our sole discretion.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Any errors in the Service will be corrected
  • The Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TokGenerator and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (which, for a free service, is zero).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TokGenerator and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with law of United States, State of Delaware. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any formal proceedings.
